It was another fine day as over thirty riders gathered in Emyvale and split up into three or four groups for the road. It was good to see some new faces turn out too.

The sun shone as we headed out to Glaslough, Pipers Bridge, Castleshane, Braddox, Ballybay, Cootehill (coffee stop), Rockcorry, Corcaghan, Monaghan and back to Emyvale. 82kms in total. Dara unfortunately had to turn back after Braddox with a split tyre sidewall which would have been too dangerous to continue with.

A good size early group left Sam’s at 7:30 for Middletown, Caledon, Aughnacloy and down to Emyvale to meet up with the main spin. An additional 38kms.
