The Sean Lynch Memorial Race 2026 took place on 6h June 2026 in Skryne, Co Meath.
This event was organised by the Drogheda Wheelers and is a tribute to the memory of Sean Lynch, a club member and friend.
The race featured a 15 km circuit around the Skryne GFC, with fast-paced racing. Participants experienced a competitive race with various categories, including C1/C2 and C3 races. The event is a significant occasion for cycling enthusiasts, offering a chance to support local clubs and enjoy a day of cycling.
Declan McEntee represented Emyvale CC at the Sean Lynch Memorial Race 2026 in Co. Meath. From the outset, the race was run at a relentless pace, making for a tough and fast contest.
Declan delivered a strong performance, riding aggressively throughout in his characteristic style. Staying committed and competitive, he held his position well and finished strongly with the bunch at the finish line.
