Emyvale Cycling Club are delighted to welcome riders back for the Tour of Monaghan 2026, taking place on Sunday 14th June 2026. This popular sportive is a highlight of the club calendar, offering cyclists the chance to experience some of the best cycling roads County Monaghan has to offer - from rolling countryside to more challenging terrain. All delivered in a friendly, well‑organised, and welcoming atmosphere.
The club is renowned for well organised events which range from their annual calendar of leisure and competitive events to national championships. Recently, the Tour Of Monaghan was voted Irish cycling’s leisure event of the year and was a highlight of the 2024/25 Cycling Ulster leisure series.

The event will start and finish at Truagh GAA – St. Mellans, Truagh GAA, Lisseagh, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, H18 V008, offering:

Route options
Riders can choose from three clearly defined routes, 140km, 90km and 60km routes, allowing everyone to pick a distance that suits their fitness, experience, and goals:
