Sean Nolan GP – Race Report 2026

Emyvale Cycling Club was represented last Sunday at the Sean Nolan GP, hosted by Navan Road Club on the challenging roads around Proudstown, Navan, Co. Meath.

Declan McEntee lined out in the C2 race and faced a tough test from the outset. The course proved demanding, with significant climbing midway through that split the field and pushed riders to their limits. It was a race of attrition, with over 25% of participants unable to finish.

Despite the relentless pace and difficult terrain, Declan showed strong resilience throughout, staying with the main bunch as the race built towards its conclusion. The race ultimately came down to a sprint finish, with Declan holding his position in the group all the way to the line.

A solid performance on a tough circuit—well done, Declan.
