The Tour of the Mournes once again lived up to its reputation as one of the toughest races in the North.

Riders faced a demanding course, tackling Rathfriland Hill six times in the C1–C2 race (70 miles) and four times in the C3 and women’s race (48 miles).

Conditions were favourable, with dry roads and sunshine throughout the day, but the challenge remained as relentless as ever.

This race requires exceptional strength and determination, and Emyvale riders Dara McKenna and Declan Entee showed both in abundance.

From the outset, both riders consistently delivered strong performances, maintaining their effort all the way to the finish line and finishing with great credit.

There was also an excellent performance from former Emyvale member Gabrielle Fox, who competed in the mixed C3 race. Gabrielle delivered an impressive ride, finishing 4th overall and claiming 1st place in the women’s category—a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to Gabrielle on a superb result.
