Emyvale CC enjoys another great day at the Killylough Sportive 2026

Emyvale Cycling Club was proudly represented by a large turnout at the annual Killylough Cycling Club Sportive on Sunday16th August 2026 with a fantastic turnout of club members joining cyclists from across the region for another memorable day on the road.

A strong Emyvale Cycling Club contingent gathered at the start of the Killylough Sportive 2026, ready to take on the miles despite challenging weather conditions.

Despite a mixed forecast and some unpredictable conditions along the route, the occasional rain showers did little to dampen spirits. Riders embraced the challenge, enjoying the superb roads, great company, and the camaraderie that makes events like the Killylough Sportive such a highlight of the cycling calendar.

The event provided the perfect opportunity for club members to test themselves on the route while catching up with friends and fellow cyclists from neighbouring clubs.

A large group of Emyvale CC riders took part, showcasing our support for neighbouring club events and a community spirit that continues to be a hallmark of the club. The event once again highlighted the close relationship between Emyvale Cycling Club and our neighbouring club, Killylough Cycling Club, whose volunteers worked tirelessly to deliver a safe, enjoyable, and well-organised sportive.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Killylough Cycling Club for hosting another excellent event and for the warm welcome shown to all participants. The dedication of the organisers, marshals, and volunteers played a huge role in making the day such a success.
