From Monaghan to Mallorca: Two weeks of cycling in the sun

Over the past two weeks, members of Emyvale Cycling Club swapped the roads of Monaghan for the sunshine and spectacular scenery of Mallorca, to enjoy some cycling in one of Europe's most popular cycling destinations.

The first week saw a group from the club take to the roads of the island, while the second week included another mix of club members and friends from other clubs who joined the trip.

Both groups enjoyed nice weather, excellent cycling routes and the opportunity to explore the beautiful island's varied scenery.

The trip provided plenty of time in the saddle, along with the social side of cycling with plenty of coffee stops, scenery and good company along the way.

Mallorca's combination of quiet roads, challenging climbs and coastal views once again proved popular with everyone.

For many, the trip was an opportunity to spend time with fellow club members, new friendships and enjoy cycling in a relaxed setting away from the routine of everyday life.

The club's travelling members returned home with plenty of kilometres in the legs and great memories from another excellent Mallorca cycling trip!
